Advantages of Mankate Aramid fiber reinforced polymer(AFRP):

1. Good mechanical property

AFRP is one kind of flexible macromolecule, featuring high strength and high modulus. Its strength is 5~6 times the strength of steel with high quality, 3 times of glass fiber, 2 times of nylon industrial filament; its modulus is 2~3 times the modulus of steel with high quality or glass fiber, 10 times of nylon industrial filament. Besides, it abounds in higher elongation.

2.Excellent capacity of inflaming retarding & heat resistance

AFRP’s Limit Oxygen Index(LOI) is greater than 28, with the oxygen proportion of air is 21%, it can self-extinguishing. Its capacity of inflaming retarding is decided by  its chemical structure. Therefore it is a perpetual inflaming retarding fiber with good heat stability, and can maintain higher strength even under the environment with over 205℃ high temperature.

3. Stable chemical property

AFRP’s chemical structure contains a large amount of beneze ring which can resistant to most chemical substances, inorganic acid in high concentration and alkali in normal temperature.

4. Radiation resistance

AFRP abounds in excellent radiation resistance. For example, exposed to long-time radiation by 1.2×10-2 w/in2 ultraviolet and 1.72×108rads Y-ray, there is no change in its strength.

5.Durability

AFRP abounds in preeminent chemical stability, no matter humidity or oxidation has no influence in its strength; at the meantime, its capacity of illumination aging resistance ensures its excellent durability when it is used in construction reinforcement.

6. Rub resistance & chemicals resistance

AFPR’s capacity of rub resistance & chemicals resistance ensure that there is less damage in strength during textile processing, storing and transporting, cutting on-the-spot and constructing.
