Our predecessor is organic fiber silk, and then under very high pressure, it is carbonized into carbon fiber. Now most of the carbon fiber is made of polyacrylonitrile fiber. In the period of pre-oxidation, it must keep heating in the air for hundred minutes under the 200-300 degree centigrade. Then it should be heated up to 1200-1600 degree centigrade in the high-purity nitrogen and maintains for a few minutes, and then heated to 2000-3000 degree centigrade in the inert gas. Maintaining it for a few seconds, we can get the carbon fiber materials that can use. Finally we weave the carbon fiber material into the carbon fiber cloth. That is the beautiful and neat Mankate’s carbon fiber cloth which we see now.
